I tried resetting NVRAM today, and now I get nothing on my screen. After holding the sequence of keys until the second chime, I let the keys go, and soon after, I hear a third chime. Now I get nothing on my screen. I tried booting Safe Mode, but since I'm using a PC card (GTX 760), there's no way to tell whether I did it right or not. I still see a blank screen.

Not sure if it matters, but I'm using a Mac Pro 1,1 running Mavericks 10.9.3. Also, my monitor/TV only supports resolutions up to 1360x768 or 720p. This sucks. Any ideas? Thanks.

Shogun.

It's hard to diagnosis without the boot screen. Did you check if there is any red light inside your Mac Pro? e.g. faulty RAM.

That probably isn't it because I can still get into the OS just fine. I can type my password and I can hear OS specific sounds.
