Have you tried either the Speck Stylefolio or Durafolio? Both are great cases for the iPad Air. There the only ones I have used that I can stand to use.

there seem to be a lot of different ones out there, I would suggest a monitor arm, as they are generally articulating and can achieve a lot of different angles and heights, which may be useful to you. This post shows just how many types of stands are available out there and may be able to help you find the kind of ones you'd find most helpful.
