I've noticed that any time I post a new thread or reply to an existing thread, the forum software automatically subscribes me to the thread.

Since I check in on this site several times a day, I prefer not getting an email every time a new post is made to a thread in which I've participated. So, I manually go in and change this setting to "do not subscribe" whenever I post. Or, if I forget when posting, I go in and manually unsubscribe.

What I'm wondering is if there's a setting in my account that will default all my posts to "do not subscribe." It's not a huge deal to have to manually unsubscribe, but I'd just prefer to not have to worry about it if there's a setting I can change manually.

I looked around in my user CP and didn't find any such option.
