iMusee+: YouTube and Spotify had a baby [FREE]

iMusee+ is a music app that allows you to listen to music and watch music videos provided by YouTube. YT music players are nothing new on the App Store, but we differ by bringing in aspects from Spotify and Songza, such as providing mood/scenario-based playlists that we curate ourselves.

We're adding the function to see playlists made by other people (much like you can explore/follow friends and popular users on instagram) very soon.

Our Chinese version of the app has been pretty successful in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, but this is the first time we're setting our sights on an English-speaking (not to mention massive) market, so it's a bit of a new and intimidating undertaking. We'd love to hear any suggestions to help us improve our product into something people would want to use in the US.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying our app! We're still relatively new, but we'll continue to add playlists as we get suggestions & find out what people like to hear.

Android is in the works! We're actually completely redesigning the UI for the Android version before releasing it (and implementing it for iOS as well). Follow us on Facebook and we'll let you know when iMusee+ 2.0 rolls out!

Promotional Art Contest until the 25th!

We're currently running a fantastic promotional art contest in tribute of Michael Jackson and we'd like to open it up to the community so anyone who's interested can participate.

All you have to do is submit an art piece (I use that term very loosely) of Michael Jackson to the corresponding post on our Facebook page. All mediums and skill levels are welcome. Seriously, you could literally draw a stick figure on a napkin, add a hat and gloves, submit it, and still win, because the winner's determined by how many Likes you get on your submission. Let your friends know which one to vote on to increase your chances of winning! Deadline for submissions is August 25, 12:00 PM EDT, so hop to it on that napkin drawing.
