Can you upgrade the SSD on 2013/2014 MBA?

Would it be possible to update the SSD on the MBA? I know you can't upgrade the memory but I've heard its possible to upgrade the SSD.
 
Theoratically yes, but they are not available yet.

Apparently OWC is going to have kits by the end of the year, up to 2TB from what I was told.
 
^^^^So will Transcend. In the meantime, there are sometimes offerings on eBay. SSDs from the Nmp will fit in and work in the MBA 2013 and 2014 models.

Awesome, does it look like a difficult job?

I'm imaging changing the battery on the MBA is not too difficult either right?
