I recently ordered the SoundBlaster OMNI external sound card and I'm having second thoughts about about it. Please recommend an excellent external sound card for my 13" MBPr.

I don't know what your use is, but I love my Xonar U3. It's a USB sound card that supports dolby digital live and dolby headphone, and it's cheap as dirt.
