Macbreak
Didn't know what forum to post this in, but whatever.
Leo Laporte, Amber Macarthur, Alex Lindsey, and this one other dude are doing a show called macbreak now. Here's the itunes link for it http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/M...t?id=119110543 From leo's little blog at twit.tv: The iTunes version is MP4 320x180, suitable for iPod with Video. The H.264 edition will be out next week via BitTorrent. (Future episodes will be shot on 1080p using a Sony Cinealta F950.) I don't know if they'll release a full 1080p video through bittorrent, i think they'll do an ipod version, 900x500 or something, and 720p. |

Thanks! That was fun to watch. Brought back memories of MacWorld, too..... I think I saw them filming and shot some photos at the time, being careful to stay out of their camera range and not interfere with what they were doing. During the broadcast I watched to see if I'd catch any glimpses of myself -- no go! LOL!

That was an awesome episode! Very professionally produced and recorded, it was amazing.
I love the idea of downloading via Bittorrent. My usual bittorrent speeds are around 15kbps, but with MacBreak I hit 203kbps! Very impressed.

Downloads seem to go smoothly now, at least for me. Very good episode and definitely one of the better produced podcasts. Looking forward to the next one. Definitely check it out.

Thanks for sharing this... I checked out a bunch of tech podcasts when podcasting first rolled into iTunes, and I didn't find anything I liked. I should check out this one, as it seems to be much more professionally hewn than predecessors.
