Recenty I took my iMac to a Apple Store because it has a graphic card issue. After change another graphic card ,the speaker doesn't work.It only works at startup 'boom',not working when play iTunes/watch YouTube videos etc.
There is no red light from headphone jack and the output device is stuck on 'digital out'.There is no sound when i plug in headphone too.
I tried reinstall OS X,use a toothpick,delete files,almost anything.Nothing works so far.
Does anybody has the same issue and what is your solution?Apple Store is like 4 hours from my home and I don't what to trip anymore.
Big thanks from your reply!Thank you guys:apple::apple::apple:

My opinion only . . . . .

You really have to provide Apple with the opportunity to make this right.

They messed up, they ought to do whatever it takes to make good on their work.

I would contact either the store or Apple corporate and present them with the issue.

It is NOT unreasonable on your part to be extremely resistant to the idea of traveling a great distance all due to their screw up.
