Massive help needed with accessing memory cards

For some reason I can no longer access my memory cards. I was able to up till today and no idea why. I look in disk Utility they show there. But don't appear to go into Finder... Desktop or aperture for me to import the images
Just a thought..... Do you have Parallels or VMWARE running? If so, maybe you accidentally set it to take the Sdcard directly into the Guest machine.
