good Mac call-waiting software?
Our second phone line has been really screwy for the past couple weeks and until it's fixed, if I or anyone else wants to get on the internet, it has to be through the main line.
Anybody know of some good OSX software that will enable me to see if someone's trying to call? Thanx.http://img.ranchoweb.com/images/veronica/smiley.gif Oh, and tried versiontracker already, no luck.http://img.ranchoweb.com/images/veronica/damn.gif |

Okay i don't know of any Mac software that does this, but there is a physical device that's being sold on TV ads right now, that you can plug computer, fax, voice and everything together, and it lets you interrupt data connection to take calls. I'll post the name of it and info, the next time i see the ad... i realize it's not going to help you much, because you're looking for something much sooner than a device you have to order... but it's the only option i know of that works on X. maybe it'll come in handy in the future? heh...
sorry i can't help more :/ pnw |
