Looks like Apple isn't making a dock for the 6, sucks since I really liked the one for my 5s. That being said, does anyone have experience with a particularly good dock that will work with the 6? Ideally looking for one with audio out like the apple one. Thanks!

Great thread..

I was going to ask about an iPhone 6/Plus dock as well.

I need a media dock. I am not confident that the current
Apple Media Dock will support the new phone.

There is something quite beautiful out there, but it's very
expensive...

If someone sees a cheaper media dock, would appreciate
a heads up.

Just ordered the Twelve South stand via Amazon for my desk at work. I like to listen to music and podcasts throughout the day, so the ability to connect headphones is a major plus for me.

I went with Dock+ as a Kickstarter project and it's still going strong. I love the heavy feel because it always stays down and I never have to use 2 hands. I use it with the 5, 5S, mini and now the 6. It's pricier than some other docks but I don't have to replace it with every iPhone change so I save money in the long run. I use Bluetooth to connect to speakers so audio out wasn't a requirement for me. Plus it's made in the US.

DOH!

$90 and it's not even a media dock?

Think I will stick with the $70 Henge Dock

I have the one from TwelveSouth and just saw on their website that they say it'll work fine for the iPhone 6. I wasn't at all worried though, because I have adjusted mine several times according to what case I was using, and it works really well. I'd recommend it!

And the adjustment takes all of 20-30 seconds, just dig the tool out from the holder on the bottom.

Good info, thanks.

I may just treat myself to another couple of them, now I know they're i6+ compatible.

So just so we're clear. Apple makes docks for every other phone model :)

You can tell the have billions in the bank because no other phone maker would pass up the opportunity to sell a couple ounces of plastic for $30. Normally I buy three...

Cases
Docks
Multimedia Docks

They could generate hundreds of millions in sales. I shake my head at that every year.

12South

I use the 12south dock for even my ipad with a case...so should work with 6/6+..... Definitely worth the Money IMO

Don't get the belkin it moves around to much.

Put the phone in the dock, it charges. I wake up and remove the phone.

Never had a problem. But, now I am concerned that it moves while I sleep.

I have it right next to me. If I fumble around it moves on the desk. I have to hold it to pull the phone out and in.

^^^

That is a nice dock. However, once again, no media output.

I suppose my needs are different than most of you.

So, at this point, I am still looking at the pricey Hedge Docks.

What do you mean media output?---a dock with a speaker?

My Twelve South stand works great and has been reliable the last year and a half. It holds the mini as well so shouldn't be a problem with the 6 or 6 Plus.

No.

Quite simply, an audio input on the back of the dock to connect to a speaker system/boombox.

Much neater through the back of the dock than having a wire hanging from the headphone jack.

Thus far, the Hedge Dock is the only one mentioned here which has that feature.
