I have a very strange syncing problem. If I enter a new contact on my Mac Book Pro it will NOT show up on my iPhone. OTOH, if I enter a new contact on my iPhone it WILL show up on my MBP. Also, if I edit a contact, that is already on both devices, on my MBP the changes WILL show up on my iPhone. As far as I can tell, all other syncing works just fine.
I have an iPhone 4s running iOS 7.1.2 (11D257); an early 2008 Mac Book Pro (4,1) running OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion). I'm using the standard Contacts apps on both my Mac and my iPhone.
I am syncing via USB (no Cloud). I just updated to iTunes 11.4 but the problem was the same on the previous version (11.3.?) as well.
I tried rebooting everything - no luck.
Any ideas?
