Yeah this phone is very interesting indeed. Much better than the K Zoom.

Shame it's so expensive but I do think as time progresses, this will provide niche markets with lovely options.

a better place
Looks great spec sheet, but if I wanted to spend $1100 - i'd spend it on a really decent camera and then buy a Nexus for a phone - and you would likely have two devices that will be long supported more than this.

How long will it get android updates, how fast / often will it be supported etc...

After I bought my last Nikon, I told myself I was never buying another digital camera without a proper viewfinder again. Call me old fashioned, but I do not like relying on a LCD screen.

Wouldn't say it's the first true camera phone. There have been dumb phones with camera bodies in the past. Of course, they never took off because the market wasn't into that yet.

- No Xenon
- No OIS
- 4K video is 15p only
- not very bright lens (f/2.8, while even the aged Nokia 808 has f/2.4, let alone the newer 1020.)
- EXTREMELY expensive

I surely won't trash my two Nokia 808's and run out to purchase this.

I sometimes wonder how many of these pieces they intend on manufacturing as they know its a niche product and wont sell in mass.
