I got two on ebay a couple weeks ago for $8 each. Certified too which was surprising. They work perfectly.
I just heard about this ebay deal today and bought one -- certified, free shipping, $8.99. 3ft Apple Lightning cable. Cheaper than the $19 MicroUSB to Lightning adapter I was gonna buy on Friday (since I have a ton of old micro USB cables lying around).
Fake.
The Tech Armor braided is the best deal. Lifetime warranty. Stout design.
Monoprice is also lifetime but not built that well.

Interesting. The editor for the Lifehacker article that mentioned it said it was certified. If it charges my device, it's fine with me.

Not sure how good this is or isn't, but with a 4 star rating and 263 reviews, must work pretty well. Came out to $14.99 on Prime and has a nice led indicator at the end of the phone portion of the connector that blinks red when charging and stays blue when charged.
I just need a cable for charging on the go, so no need to quick charge, which this cable does not do.

Not Apple Certified, I recommend not getting.
You risk damaging your phone and the cable may or may not work upon firmware releases. To each their own though.Don't really care if it says Apple Certified or not. It's a cable used for charging on the go and nothing more.
