a million crashes today; help!

ok, actually SIX crashes. but never happened before today. am working, mail, or safari...and i get a beachball...and can't force-quit; EVERYTHING stops working. i have to shut down my macbook.

here's part of the crash log; anyone have any thoughts? i've read that the iTunes issue has something to do with iOS8... but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

did that, showed no issues. am using etrecheck, and found a failed launchagent...for an app i uninstalled. deleted that, will see how things go...

i may be back...

still getting freezes. in mail, safari. just now, in finder. so... i just ran the 10.9.4 combo update, will see how things go...

am concerned about the drive (an SSD i installed 2 years ago). i (!) wiped my drive, am re-installing the OS clean, then will install my essential apps, move my files back. if it happens again…it probably IS hardware.
