Mac Mini 2,1 Create Ad-Hoc worked perfect in 10.6x.. Had to upgrade to 10.7 for software compatibility and Now I can't create an Ad-Hoc Network.
The first thing you notice is when the dialog to create the network comes up, you can not change the Channel Number and when you try and create the network it gives an error.. I've also tried the Hack and installed Mountain Lion and it too has the issue. The 10.7 5 issues is the same on two separate Mac Mini's
Anyone have any insights that would be helpful

I could not find a suitable workaround with the Stock network card that shipped with the Mac Mini.. 2 weeks ago my MacBook Pro finally gave out and salvaged the Airport Card from it and put it into the Mac Mini.. IT WORKED!
So there's some kind of bug in either the Driver or the OS thats preventing an Ad-Hock network to be created...
