AT&T $100 credit

I received an email from AT&T offering $100 credit if I activated a new line with Next.
I have 2 lines with out of contract phones on the Mobile Share Value plan.
Is there any reason I can't add a line to take advantage of the deal and immediately drop one of my original lines?
I'm planning to get a 6 with Next regardless, but shaving a hundred bucks off the price would be nice.
Anyone familiar with this deal?

There is no reason you couldn't do this. We did it a few months ago, actually. :)

You get the credit after 45 days of the line being active, just FYI. There is also a stipulation where you can;t be late with payment, else the deal is revoked.

Well then, seems likes good deal!
I guess the only down side is losing the phone number of the line you drop.
