Hi,

I'm trying to burn a blu ray from some home videos. The files are .m2ts and .m2ts.modd.

When trying to add the video files to roxio toast, I get an error message.. "*.mt2s.modd is an unsupported format and cannot be imported".

Why is this happening? Don't I need the file to maintain the quality of the video?

Thanks in advance!

I want to playback on regular blu ray players.

Will I lose quality if I use toast but don't use the .m2ts.modd files?

Depending on playback devixe, you might consider makemkv which rips to a Matroska container.
