Resolved Do any of the wallet style cases have microfibre/soft linings? (ETA - found one)

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a wallet style case for my iphone 6. The only thing that worries me is the plastic part that snaps around the phone - a lot of these cases aren't lined with microfibre or leather on the part that actually holds the phone in place and they seem to be made from quite hard/sharp plastic so I'm worried it will scratch the edges of the handset.

Can anyone advise on any 'lined' wallet style cases? The versus case looks lovely - anyone have one of these IRL and can advise on the part that holds the phone in place, i.e., do you think it could scratch the edges of the phone?

Alternatively does anyone know of a sleeve style case that will fit over the iphone 6 while it is still in a apple leather case?

You'd think it would be something that would be easy to find. I basically want the apple leather case but with a front on it! I've been searching all morning though and no luck, they all just seem to have the hard plastic clip surround

Well after really looking into this I discovered that the way to get a case with a 'softer surround' is to look at cases where the surround part for the phone covers the entire edge of the phone. This way the material has to be softer to allow the phone to fit as if it would not bend then it would be impossible to get the phone in the case in the first place! Whereas the designs where the clips/surrounds are open at the top and bottom of the phone can be made of hard plastic and the phone will still fit as they effectively 'clip' onto the phone (but I was worried that this type would scratch the phone).

I ended up ordering this one:



from Amazon it is only £8.95 for the iphone 6 case and about £5.99 for the iphone 6 plus case (yes the bigger one is cheaper!).

The case is lovely, much better than it looks on that photo and the surround is a soft rubbery material with a soft inner. Perfect - just what I was looking for.

I will take some photos of the actual case and upload later.

Hope this helps anyone looking for a wallet case and having the same concerns that I did
