hi everyone! i'm planning to buy a used ipod touch 5th gen, the seller says the unit is in great condition however just don't have it restored or updated. i wonder why is that so? i'd mainly use it for music and taking pictures/videos and a little bit of browsing the internet. will i have problems if i'm not able to have it restored or updated? i mean i'm fine with iOS 7, could i just leave it as it is?

Idk

I mean it depends on what you used it for. The processer is falling behind. Plus every other website says the iTouch 6 will come next month with the new iPads. So I geuss its up to you and what you use it for.

Is find my iPod Touch on?
Can it be turned off? (must know the password of the current iCloud account.)
Do not buy an iOS 7+ device with Find my device turned on.

To be safe, you should be able to do this before paying money,
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
After a time, the device setup screen with multiple languages of Welcome to iOS should appear. (Just like on a new device.)
