I know that there are issues with original Airport cards and connecting to newer routers, and for that reason I have an original Airport Extreme(round) base station as a secondary network for my Airport-card equipped devices.
The Airport card works fine in my TiBook when connecting to this secondary router under OS X(10.4 when I was still using it, and now 10.5).
I'm having issues still with connecting to the internet under OS 9, however. I select the network, type in the password, and and prompted with "An error occurred while trying to join the selected Airport Network."
I'm using WPA on this secondary network-is the issue just that OS 9 won't work with WPA, or could there possibly be something else going on?
