never heard of that site..& theyre wrong. my 8.1 beta 1 on iphone 6 is the same as 8.0 -> 8.0.2 just cellular data & enable lte

Looks like Apple finally heard its customers. The "Enable 3G" button (from iOS 7) is still not here, but a new option is available.

In Cellular settings, you will find the 2G, 3G, and 4G option.

Where is the Voice and Data Menu?
I looked in my the Mobile section (UK wording of Cellular) and I can't find Voice and Data at all.

Looks like this feature is only available if your carrier "allows" you to switch network. Someone also posted it on Reddit.

Good news. FYI some in this thread, whether a 3G or 4G or LTE or no toggle appeared was always down to the carrier. But never before have they been allowed (by Apple) a choice from more than 2 at a time, so this is good news.

Nothing new in this. Its always been the case.
You've seen this before?

Apple really should change those to EDGE, UMTS/HSPA, 1x, EVDO, LTE, etc. because even Apple calls HSPA "4G" sometimes and "3G" other times. Talk about ambiguity!
