I really want to punch iTunes in the throat.
So, I have an album that I purchased on iTunes. I've tried to sync it to my iPod, but it hasn't appeared. If I look at the list of songs on the iPod using iTunes, I see them greyed out, like this:
The iPod has plenty of space on it, and both iTunes and iOS are up to date. I've tried everything to fix this, including:
I've even tried deleting the album from my library. That didn't work. So I deleted it from iCloud too. (By the way: never do this. It deletes it from your purchase history, so you can never download it again).
Then, I imported the AAC files from another Mac that had a copy of the album. You know what happened? This:
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? The only other thing I can think of is totally wiping the iPod. But I've got lots of apps and games with data. I don't want to lose that.

- Turning iTunes Match off and back on.
- Unsyncing all my music, then copying it all back.
- Turning on "Manually Sync Music", removing the album, and re-adding it.
