I saw an article on 9to5mac from August 2013 that gave the details of the Apple iPhone Recycling Program. The first thing it mentioned was that the new iPhone must be purchased on-contract. Is this still true a year later? I couldn't find the terms and conditions on Apple's website, and asking questions via Chat was like talking to my dog.
