OK, I'm about to start another photo montage project in FCP, but for this one I want to create it in HD for a good sample video, but (for now) downsize it to SD 16:9 for DVD.

So what settings do I use in the FCP Sequence Settings menu? I set the Frame Size to 1920x1080 HDTV, but on the Pixel Aspect Ratio, do I keep it on the NTSC setting or change it to one of the HD settings? I'm a little confused because on the NTSC setting the frame size looks ok in the canvas window, but when I switch to one of the HD settings it makes it look ultra-wide. Also, under the Pixel Aspect Ration menu, the highest resolution possible there is 1440x1080, not 1920x1080. So can anyone let me know which settings I should use?

Also when I burn this to DVD, do I just export the HD movie to a Quicktime file like usual, and will iDVD or DVDSP downsize it automatically?

Thanks
