getting these really weird black boxes everywere... seems random?

i dont know why, but im getting these black frames around stuff. and sometimes it doesnt seem to frame anything at all. i dont get it.

Do you have VoiceOver turned on in the Universal Access pane of System Preferences? Do they go away if you press COMMAND-F5? 🙂
 
Yes, thanx so much. that was surprizingly easy

though, it did say voice over was checked off. so i dont get it still. but cont F5 did it.
