Hello
A few weeks ago I ordered a new battery from china since my old one had poor capacity. The new battery should be genuine and unused. Anyway I removed my old battery and plugged the new one in. Macosx starts up fine at first glance. But then I notice that the kernel is hogging cpu power at close to 100% on all cores. I tried to reset SMC but it didn't help either.
Battery seems to charge fine and I can read it's charge value etc from system information. it's just that the kernel seems to hog all cpu and I thought It had to be related to this new battery since I don't have the same issues with my old battery(I changed back again).
Computer is Macbook air 2011 with OSX mavericks 10.9.4
any ideas?
