5G Ipod Playing Problem

Hi Guys,
I am the proud owner of a 5G Ipod. However, I have recently discovered a problem that my 2 week old 5G video ipod has. I hope u guys can try to help me.

Evertime I play a video on my 5G ipod, and then pause the video in the middle and leave it to turn off itself; I find hours later when I try to play music on it, it doesn't play. What happens is that the music time progress bar is stuck at 0:00 and won't move. I can still access all the settings/extras and menus but I cannot play any of the video or music. If I turn it off by holding the play button, and then load it again, it won't play. I tried doing a reset, and then it'll start playing. This has happened about 3-4 times already.

I am wondering, is this a common problem? Or is thiere any reason that might possibly cause this problem?

Check in Settings > About > Version and see if you have version 1.1 of the iPod software. If not, download the iPod updater from here:

This may fix your issue. I don't have the problem, but my 3-day old iPod shipped with the update already applied, and, well, it won't do any hard to give it a try...
