Just installed on my gen 3, can't find anything new though, but I do think I see a boost in performance.

It fixed the Radio App - with 7.0 it would freeze / error after about 10 minutes. This has been fixed - fixed for me and several people on Apple support forums. Havnt seen anyone post they are still having the problem. Was a known issue by a senior Apple TV advisor.

Has this resolved the issue folk were having about their Apple TV disappearing from the network when it is in sleep mode?

I didn't update my software the last time as I noticed people having issues.

I don't have this problem.

Is it just an ethernet issue?
I always use wifi but you could test out your theory by unplugging the ethernet cable to simulate your network going down and seeing if the peer-to-peer over wifi works but I'm not sure if your ATV must be first configured to communicate with your network over wifi.

I had the same issue, but unplugging mine from Ethernet and using Wi-Fi fixed it

Has the latest release broken anything? Just thought I'd ask based on past history of issues stemming from such "updates"... ;)

Thank You APPLE!!!!!!

I also had the WiFi issue where it was having an error lost connection with network message every ten minutes. IT'S FIXED!! Thank you Apple!!!
