g3 600mhz/ 640 mb of ram/ running osx 10.5

is within the serial range of the bad logic boards. (i've gotten apple to fix several unrelated problems for free because of this---though I'm pretty sure that

screen goes to black. comes back up again if I shake it and press on the down left corner of the base, under they keyboard, you know, where it gets hottest. I'm writing on it now, but if I move it the wrong way it goes to black again.

have run onyx/harware test (everyting passed). then ran tech tools.

all my data is backed up thanks to superduper.

it's over four years old and obviously needs to be replaced soon. (I was just hoping to hold out a few months for the new 13'' macbooks)

how bad is this news? any help in diagnosing this (and or offering solutions) would be very much appreciated.
