I just picked up one of the $499 fry's 2012 i7 mini servers.

I'd like to remove one of the 1tb drives and replace with my 512gb MX100 SSD.

The question is, can I properly run both windows 7 thru bootcamp and OS X on the SSD drive, with media, music and pictures on the tb, either in OS X or win 7?

I prefer running through bootcamp vs parallels.

I don't have a ton of files, so another option is to just can both drives and run just the SSD.

If you have already decided what you'd prefer to keep on the slower hdd, why not keep them separate rather than try to fuse it? Personally I'd prefer to keep them separated.

I ended up removing both of the slower drives and just running pure ssd storage.
