Hello Everyone,
I accidentally Corrupted the SSD on my "Macbook pro Retina Late 2013"
after shrinking Dual OS "windows" boot partition!
Unfortunately, I didnt have any OS X backup image or a startup disk.
So I Successfully made to "Online Recovery" then used "Disk Utility" and formatted the SSD to Original alignment "One Mac Journaled partition"
its obvious now that the Boot partition has no Bootable OS X, now it seems that the only way to re-install OS X mavericks, is to choose online installing from online recovery,
problem is my internet connection speed is pretty slow "4m adsl"
and it might take up to 10 hours to finish this online installation...
and I just don't have the time to sit there and watch it, also I am not sure if things will progress smoothly without any human interferience..Because I might just leave it running over night while I am sleeping, or Do I have to be there in case of any poping up system messages?
have not been there before, and I am not sure if it will complete installation on its own?
so I would really appreciate if you guys suggest any other way that is time efficient,
notes:
I have no access to any other OS X Macs, no startup disks.
Currently running windows 8.1 on an intel based laptop.
Previous OS X Mavericks 10.9.4
I am an IT specialist, So basically I can go for any possible solutions.
Thank you.
