Before I state my problem I should probably state this right away:
I'm using a 13' MacbookPro (mid 2009) running OS 10.8 (upgrading to 10.10 after finishing this post)
Also I can't insert disks because the drive broke after my sis spilt OJ into it
so I did the preusbsupportedmodels trick to install windows using a usb
Before in the past I've managed to install Windows 7 via Bootcamp with no problems whatsoever. After installing Yosemite (10.10) I get an error saying "Non system disk press any key to continue." I figured this had to do with Yosemite so I downgraded to Mavericks, and then Mountain Lion, however I still get the same error! Instead of using disks I install windows setup onto my 16GB Lexar usb flash drive. I looked at various posts but they don't seem to work. I would really appreciate the help with this problem... I desperately want to play my steam games on Windows 7 rather than my mac (steam games do run a whole lot faster on windows anyway)
