My iPhone 5s is a 16gb. That was a huge mistake. I had a 32gb iPad Air and traded it towards the 64gb air 2, but was initially thinking about the 128, but most people say 64gb is enough. After my iCloud backup restore I still have 49 gigs left. Is 64gb enough for most people?

I'm satisfied with 64 gb, so liberating after my 16 gb air. But if you have an extra hundred bucks burning in your pocket go for it!!!

Are all your apps and media installed? Sounds like 64 is good enough.

Depends do you downlod movies in you iPad, do you transfer photos from a camera? If not 64gb is fine. I have a 64gb iPad Air and I always have extra space.

Remember that your habits change over time. Years ago I thought my 32GB iPod touch was waay to much. I had 500MB of music, 3GB of apps, amd like 2GB of video.

Over the past three years I have grown significantly. I have 9GB of music, 13GB of apps, 1.4GB of Photos, amd 150GB of video. My 32GB iPhone was annoying from the lack of space. I now have a 64GB iPhone 6 (kind of wish I had 128GB since I keep a lot of space free for photos and videos taken on the device) and will upgrade my 64GB iPad 3 to 128GB.

I like to carry around a large video library. Like a mobile TV. Plus I like to have room to grow and for system/app caches. For example, my reading list is like 500MB right now.

Most people are wrong.

My aunt lives fine with her 16GB iPad 2!

I was always told get the most storage you can afford (esp w/ nonexpandable storage). I have 128gb.
As with many things in life: better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

That's sweet. But your Aunt is not "most" people...

I agree. Plus, people forget how much space iOS takes up. On my 64 GB iPad I only have 57GB of actual space. On a 16GB device I don't think you have more than 12GB
