I've just been playing music on my 
TV through the remote app on an iPad, and cannot believe how much better the music menu interface is compared to the stock music app!
It mimics iTunes on a Mac, and actually makes use of the larger screen size! The stock iPad music app is just the same as the iPhone version (just a blow up) and doesn't even have a grid view for albums!
The sore point is, the iPad music app used to be different from the iPhone version (with an album grid view), but somewhere along the line it got really messed up becoming the same.
