I'm currently on 10.7.5 Lion and would like to upgrade to 10.9 Mavericks. But I can't work out how to get it.

- The App Store just gives me a link to a free upgrade to 10.10 Yosemite, but I don't want to install that one just yet.

- The download pages on Apple's website have links to (10.x.1, 10.x.2, etc) but they're just updates - they each require the original 10.x software to be installed.

- The Apple Store is offering Mountain Lion - but lists it for £14.

Have I missed the boat for a free upgrade to Mavericks?

You need to contact Apple Support and they'll provide you a code that will enable you to download 10.9.

Ah right, thanks.

Guess I'll try and stick to no earlier than penultimate from now on. ;)
