Hi guys

Am I only one seeing those? Note this happens only within Finder and I don't see any flickering, graphics glitches outside Finder at all. Sometimes when I open a random folder I don't even see the files structure inside, just blank window ...

Could that be the Yosemite bug?

It could be Yosemite. I haven't seen your examples but I do get some some graphical glitches in Time Machine and Finder.

Whoa. That looks like a GPU fault to me. Definitely not seeing that here. (295)

I got these bugs during the Yosemite beta on a 2011 MBP.

I would (fresh) reinstall Yosemite. If it doesn't go away, call Apple.

Are those screenshots? If they are doesn't that mean its software not hardware? As a screenshot normally would look ok ... but a pic of the actual screen would look diff if it was a Graphics card problem?

Pristine graphics here. That is nasty, perhaps defective GPU?

Please keep us posted. Good luck.

Defective GPU would cause worse. I think he needs to reinstall Yosemite. It could be caused by the Beta and upgraded to the final version of Yosemite. Run Disk Utilities and see if it fixes that before reinstalling

Yeah that makes sense, if it's on the screenshoots it's either the driver or the operating system. I am reinstalling Yosemite now.

That's the retina iMac which came with Yosemite preinstalled, I haven't upgraded it from Beta, but maybe Apple did :D

What have you installed since the fresh install that could be causing this? It's clearly software, since we can see the screenshots, so... anything installed?

Well if it makes you feel better, YouTube in Safari on my RiMac did this to me today...

I've been having similar issues on my rMBP. Sounds like it's a retina+Yosemite bug. There have been quite a few complaints about Finder display issues, here's one example.
