Feeler: FS PB 12" 512 MB Ram stick/60 GB HD

I'm looking to possibly upgrade the ram in my PB to the full 1.25 GB. If I do, that means I'll have an extra 512 MB stick for sale.

I can't remember ever putting this in there, so it's probably stock apple ram. If it turns out not to be that, then I know it's kingston (that's the only other stuff I'll buy).

Anyways, would anybody be interested in this RAM? I want to stress that it's been tried and tested. It's the memory from a 12 inch 1.33 GHz PB (the PC2700 stuff). What's the going rate for this stuff now?

I guess if you have a 1GB stick that you want to sell, I'd be interested in that too.

Addition: Is there any market for a 60GB HD for a PB? I'm looking to upgrade that as well.

Thanks,

Ben

Wow, I have exactly the same PB and am thinking the same thing. An extra 512mb would make it a little faster.

However, the price of a new 512mb is so low that it barely makes it worth selling. The 1gb has come down in price since I bought my PB but is still unproportionally higher than the 512. Us 12"ers do get a little screwed in this department.

I'll probably just give mine to a friend and hope he buys me several beers

Will this work in a 12" 1.5GHz/60GB HD/Combo PB?

Well, I replied to you're email, but I think you'll be in the same boat as me. The 12 inch PB only has one ram slot, so you'll have to throw away what ram you have before you can upgrade it.

Thanks for the replies so far,

Ben

how much are you looking for for the 512 if you still have it?
