If it's glaring, you'll know. Don't actively look for it.
Any other course of action is bound to frustrate and annoy you.
Update: I just tried to read a book underwater and now my iPad has ceased functioning. Piece of junk. Guess I'll take it into the Apple Store tomorrow because of this glaring defect.
Yes. And don't try stopping a .50 caliber bullet with it either. It fails miserably at that also.

The best way to experience bass is definitely in your thumbs (not, like, your ears..)
I found if you apply enough force any display will exhibit these characteristics.
You can add pinkish hue on the screen when it's off.

Same here. Love it to death anyway. I've been using it for two years and I don't see myself replacing it anytime soon honestly. It's held up a lot better after two years than previous iPhones.
