Hello there,
I need some help.
I searched in web but only found out formulas for excel which are not working in numbers.
I have a spreadsheet with a table containing a column with a "code" number, a column with name, a column with surname and some other columns for telephone email etc. It is in conclusion something like an address book data base.
I want to be able to search in this list writing only the surname or the name and the multiple results be displayed with also the code beside. Can anyone help me out?
Here is a small part of the spreadsheet.

I would really appreciate your assistance.

PS sorry for my bad english, I am not a native speaker.

Hello, I'm not sure whether I have understood your question correctly. But if I'm not wrong, the filtering options ('Sort and Filter Options' when you click on the options available under any column) should resolve your issue. You should be able to build a custom filter using that. Is that not what you're looking for?
