Are you under the impression that I was joking or being snarky and not giving you solid advice? Let me try again.
- Setup a Yahoo, Gmail or Outlook accounts in your mail app.
- See if these accounts also experience the same issue as your AOL account.
IF the issue exists with the other accounts the problem may be your phone. That being the case:
1. try to delete and re-add your AOL account to the mail app
2. try restarting your phone.
IF the issue does NOT exist with the other accounts:
1. See if AOL is reporting any outages or slowness
2. Contact AOL customer service.
