DeleteWord is installing but not working, when I go to settings I see this:

Tried removing and reinstalling multiple times, same thing. I really hope I can get this to work, this is one of my most used tweaks.

Edit: it works in certain apps, like Facebook. Not working in Safari or Messages.

So it seems to work in downloaded apps but none of the stock ones; ie Messages, Safari, etc. does anyone know the dev's twitter handle?

Try going to the preference folder via iFile delete the respective .plist file for the tweak

Or you could just move it to a different folder just in case

After doing that, respring your phone and go back to the settings app and see if the preference pane will load up

Ok, I downloaded ifile - now just to be sure, I delete the plist file for DeletWord? This seems risky, how do I move it to a diff folder?

Deleted plist file, resprung, still not showing up/working. Any other ideas?

Before asking, you should check and see if the tweak has even been updated for the specified firmware version you're on

After that, you should check if it has compatibility for 64 bit devices

And that's where the problem lies. If you checked out the tweak's page on cydia, you would see that the last time the tweak was updated was for iOS 5 which is 2-3 years ago

Considering that parts of the tweak even work, you're lucky! The preference pane not loading up is most often than not, because the tweak was never compiled for 64 bit compatibility

Deleteword is not a 32/64-bit MobileSubstrate extension. It will work work in 32-bit applications and not any 64-bit ones.

Well it says it's been updated for 8.1 and just that you can't adjust the settings and only works at default settings which is everywhere.

That spreadsheet lists partial compatibility. The package in Cydia was last updated for iOS 5.

Yes, like I explained above - it says it works but options can't be figured so it works on default settings which is everywhere

It's listed there are partial. It only works for 32-bit apps and on 32-bit devices like the 4S and iPhone 5.

Unlikely, it hasn't been updated for iOS 7 and did have some problems in iOS 6. You could try sending the developer an email asking about it.

So just to be clear, it makes sense that it still works fully on my 4S running 7.1.2?
