Well, today I needed to access a pages doc I started earlier today...
I needed to use a different Mac to do it, and...
I can see the doc, but it just says "not downloaded" and won't allow me access.
So, being that I was using iCloud very successfully for months and months before iCloud drive turned up, this is very annoying. I'm actually cross. It's costing me money and time, when it's supposed to save me exactly that.
