Hello, i'm roy this is my first time on this forum
Yesterday i was using my macbook pro normally. Today i wanted to use it but when i wanted to insert my password it wouldn't type and the mouse wasn't working. Please help i've had it for less than a year.

first off. Did you spill anything on your Mac? The most common cause of the keyboard not working is a liquid spill.

Unfortunately if this is the case, it's an expensive repair, as it will not be covered under warranty.

Next. Try a full reboot. Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds. Wait 30 seconds and switch on.

Your Mac should chime, then boot. Hopefully at that point, it should allow you to login.

If that doesn't work and you haven't had a liquid spill, then your mac is under warranty. Book an appointment at the genius bar and Apple will fix it for you.
