I'm definitely thinking of picking up a 13" MBPr sometime soon within the month, but I'm stuck in between the 128GB model and the 256GB model. I could easily store all my other information on an external drive if I end up running out of space, but does storage capacity affect system performance at all? Thanks!

Generally, a smaller SSD performs slower.

When it gets full, it may affect system performance.

You can always store your media on a external hard drive (photos, music, movies) and keep your software on the Mac.

Alright, I'll definitely take the larger 256GB into consideration. Thanks for all the responses!

Yeah, I'm from Oregon so there shouldn't be any sales tax tagged along with the purchase.
