iPhone hide statusbar stuff

i need a standalone tweak that will hide the time, carrier and other status bar icons.

I used to use springtomize to do all that before, but i uninstalled springtomize because after the update, my phone was draining battery extremely quick.

can someone please recommend an app which supports ios 8 iphone 6 plus to hide the stuff on statusbar?

I'm looking for something that does this as well. Hideme8 does this but what about something more streamlined, like slide up to hide the status bar? I dont like having to go to setting change a toggle and respring just do hide it for a minute or two.
