easter egg in tiger

easter egg in mac os x tiger

just open a terminal within tiger and

type

mac:~ mac$ say -v Good oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

works with other letters as well

you can also use letter combinations like aaaalllllooooo or sth like that...

I don't get it. Is the printing of the o's the easter egg?

From looking around online it looks like it will just speak whatever text you type which is what the command is supposed to do...

no just type the Os in the same line on your terminal (simply do apple-key c + apple-key v) and don't forget to turn on sound

Correct. And by adding the -v you are can specify a voice.

Try these two:
say -v Vicki hello
say -v Fred hello

There are many more Voices too. This is no easter egg, it's just another features of OS X.

never mind wether it's an easter egg or not...with good you get the melody of land of hope and glory and with bad the infamous r.i.p. melody
