I have a bunch of animated gifs in my phones camera roll but I noticed they stopped animating when sent through and/iMessage after I signed up for iCloud Photo Library. It looks like they all got shaved down to a single static frame of animation which is incredibly intrusive on Apple's part. They've gone and irreparably modified my library. I don't suppose turning photo library off will bring back the missing data?
