Hello. So I have been looking around at refurb iMacs, and I found a 2011 iMac with the 3.1Ghz i5 and the 6970M Graphics for $1200 on Mac of All Trades. Is that place reliable? I can upgrade the ram to 12Gb for pretty cheap.

Or should I just get a 2012 Refurb iMac 27" Base model? It's obviously going to be weaker, and about $100 more expensive.

I really like the 2011 iMac because I can upgrade the ram and Hard drive really easily, while the 2012 looks to be very hard to replace the hard drive.

I'm planning on putting a 128Gb SSD in the iMac 27" later to make a Fusion Drive.

Is Mac of All Trades reliable?

I've made two purchases from there and they have both been good. No problems here. Sometimes they're high priced, but they do have some good deals and from my experience are reliable.

I purchased a 2007 iMac from there a few weeks ago, they sent me a 2008 model with a higher processor for the same price.

Flawless condition, shipped practically over night. Highly recommended.
