I'm currently on 8.1 and I primarily want RetroArch to work. Right now a couple emulators constantly crash and do not start and the button layout still doesn't stretch to the entire screen of the 6 plus. I heard Taig "seems safe" but what I read sounded iffy.

RetroArch hasn't been updated for the 6 plus yet. The dev is working on it now and last week said it should be ready in a week or so. So you'll prolly see an update soon.

Regarding 8.2, the big fix was for purchased ringtones and that's it. There might be some other fixes but haven't heard anything. Plus I heard the 8.2 update takes up an extra 100-200 mb of space which only really matters if you're using a 16 gb device.

I have 8.1 as well. Any better battery life with 8.1.2? Or maybe wise to stick with what I have until 8.2...

Thanks for the update! Sounds like I should wait since the PanguJB has been fine.

I have noticed my battery life is better on 8.1.2, but if you're fine with 8.1 no other reason to update to it.

8.1.2 update

"Flame on"
Well I only wish Apple would spend more time on fixing stuff that they broke
in ios 8. I was on ios 7 and my bluetooth worked fine in my car but since I
updated to ios 8 it stopped working even without jailbreaking. Then comes 8.1
and then 8.1.1 and now with 8.1.2 and it still isn't working. I've sent in a
number of complaints and getting no reply. I've spoken with the person at my
car dealer who is responsible for bluetooth and he just said that he doesn't
understand why Apple has to go and screw up a standard that everyone uses.
Have they employed people from Microsoft? They are really screwing things up
and I'm at the point where I considering going over to an LG G3 running
android. The os is stable, everything works as it should and they seem to add
new features without screwing up what is there running. Sure wish there was
a forum that I knew Apple people followed so they could see how frustrated
users are. Steve Jobs definitely wouldn't allow this. Should have been addressed
in 8.1. I'm more interested in my bluetooth working in my car than I am about
battery usage.
So "flame off"

I had a 5 and 5s both updated to 8.1 and the bluetooth in my car still works fine. Stream music and everything. Now using a 6 and still no issues

Every time I update, I end up having to repair--then no issues. Did you try setting it up as if it was a new device?

Totally sucks, since I have at least 8 different BT connections (Mac Mini, MacBook Air, my car's stereo, my wife's car stereo, Blue Buds earphones, BT headset, BT Logitech Mini Boombox, and my Pebble watch).
